Dangerous Goods
Dangerous goods may be explosive, flammable, combustible, spontaneously combustible, oxidising, water-reactive, toxic or corrosive. They can be deadly and can seriously damage property and the environment.
A company which manufactures, imports, supplies, stores or handles stated dangerous goods or combustible liquids is required to satisfy changing legislative requirements. In Queensland, for example, the updated Dangerous Goods Safety Management Act and Regulation now requires dangerous goods sites to have a formal and structured Safety Management System.
